The Simplex Bonus Box Set contains a 3117.040 mallet and a spare grey rubber replacement face and a spare blue rubber replacement face. Also included is a Halder carpenter pencil and a Pica pencil holder/sharpener. The Halder Simplex mallet is the signature hammer in the Halder line. This variation of the patented Simplex hammer features a lightweight aluminum housing. The aluminum housing makes this mallet very lightweight, perfect for more delicate and precise work but its rugged design allows it to deliver powerful blows if needed. The split housing allows it to be taken apart and the components can be replaced when worn or damaged. The face inserts consist of a medium hard grey non-marring rubber and a soft blue non-marring rubber. The faces are held in place by pressure, not screwed in.
